St. Luke LeBlanc is a dedicated climate and environmental advocate from the Commonwealth of Dominica but based in Montserrat, currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science at the University of the West Indies. Presently holds the position of the SG7 Focal Point for Small and Developing Island States. In 2024 he served as a United Nations IOM Youth Delegate at COP29 in Baku Azerbaijan, amplifying the voices the youth and vulnerable island nations in global climate discussions. A former Youth Premier of the Montserrat National Youth Parliament, LeBlanc secured grant funding from the Commonwealth Youth Programme to lead Montserrat's largest tree-planting initiative. Names “Roots to Resilience” This landmark project united youth from diverse backgrounds—spanning ages, religions, and genders, in restorative environmental action. He volunteered as a forester with the Department of Environment and earned a prestigious European Union scholarship to advance his studies. LeBlanc's work bridges youth leadership, policy, and sustainability for resilient island futures.
