Khalid’s work at The Council focuses on energy access at the intersection of livelihoods and green jobs. His research areas focus on understanding the market, feasibility, and impact potential of cleantech solutions for livelihoods in India. Recently, under India’s G20 presidency, he has authored an official G20 report on ‘A Compendium of Global Good Practices: Mainstreaming Decentralised Renewable Energy for SDG7.’
