Yala Conceicao Hivernon is an Assistant Industrial Development Officer in UNIDO's unit of Sustainable Investment and Responsible Business. She develops programmes on green economic corridors aimed at translating UNIDO's sustainable industrialization mandate into concrete outcomes along African corridor routes. She also served as UNIDO's Youth Focal Point, having helped shape the organization's Youth Framework. With professional experience across Africa, Latin America and Europe, she works at the nexus of sustainable development, green energy and responsible investment, leading projects that empower young people as innovators and drivers of green industrial change.
