During her 12 years with UNIDO she has been responsible for project development and implementation of sustainable industrial development policies and more recently on how green hydrogen can support countries to achieve a sustainable industrial development. Prior to joining UNIDO, she worked at Rolls Royce UTC as a research associate. Smeeta holds a BEng in Environmental Engineering, an MSc in Environmental Management and a PhD in Environmental Fluid Dynamics from the University of Nottingham (UK).
