Active in the energy field since 1997,Barbara has held senior roles in Edison's HR department,including leading cross-divisional programs aimed at fostering cultural change towards energy transition and employee engagement,with a particular focus on women's empowerment. In 2022,she joined the company's Executive Committee as Executive Vice President for Sustainability;she is also the CEO’s office Director and a member of the BoD of Edison Next Government,the group's subsidiary dedicated to the B2G market.She serves on the boards of several organizations committed to sustainable development: EOS Foundation,which supports vulnerable communities in Italy, and the Italian Network of the United Nations Global Compact (as VP).In 2023,she was appointed Co-Chair of the Programs Committee of the WEC. She is committed to Banco dell'Energia Foundation, which supports families experiencing energy poverty, and a member of the "In The Boardroom"initiative,promoting diversity within BoD’s in Italy.
