Thomas Guillot is Chief Executive of the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), where he leads global efforts to decarbonize the cement and concrete sector and advance sustainable construction. He oversees the GCCA’s net-zero implementation programme, innovation initiatives, and international engagement, working closely with industry leaders in this CEO-led platform. He brings over 20 years of experience in sustainability, circular economy, and industrial transformation. Before joining GCCA in 2021, he held senior roles at Holcim, including leading its decarbonization programme and circular business (Geocycle) across the EMEA region. He also served as Head of Geocycle Europe, driving alternative fuels, waste-to-energy systems, and resource efficiency. Earlier in his career at Holcim, he held leadership roles in strategy, operations, and business development, including post-merger integration, alternative resources, and managing aggregates and concrete operations in Bulgaria. His career reflects deep expertise in industrial decarbonization, circularity, and global collaboration in the built environment sector.
