Mr. Javid Abdullayev is the Director of the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He brings extensive public‑sector experience in energy policy, strategic planning, regulatory development, and science‑based approaches to infrastructure. He previously served nearly eight years at the Ministry of Energy, most recently as Deputy Head of the Department of Strategic Programs and Reforms. His earlier roles include positions in the Agency for Supervision of Safety in Construction, the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, and research work on ecological issues in construction.
