Beate Meinl-Reisinger, MES has been Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria since 3 March 2025. Beate Meinl-Reisinger was born in Vienna on 25 April 1978. From 1996 to 2002, she completed a degree in law at the University of Vienna (Mag. iur.) and from 2002 to 2003 a Master's degree in European Studies at the Danube University Krems (MES). She began her professional career at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, followed by positions at the Federal Ministry of Economy and Labour and the Federal Ministry of Economy, Youth and Family. She also gained experience as a parliamentary assistant in the European Parliament. In October 2013, Beate Meinl-Reisinger was sworn in as a member of the National Council. From 2015 to 2018, she was Club Chairwoman of the NEOS Vienna City Hall Club before taking on the role of Club Chairwoman of the NEOS Parliamentary Club at the federal level in September 2018.
