Accelerating Clean Industrial Technology Pathways to Strengthen Prosperity, Security and Stability in Africa
Description
This session explores how integrated, inclusive, and socially just approaches can be translated into scalable implementation models that deliver tangible results for sustainable energy and green industrial development. In line with the IVECF call to protect vulnerable groups, strengthen resilience, and create opportunities for youth and women, the discussion will focus on practical mechanisms that mobilize private capital and foster cross-regional partnerships.
The session will highlight the work of EELA in advancing industrial clean-technology pathways for African SMEs and industries, while strengthening collaboration between European and African energy agencies to co-develop innovation ecosystems. It will also showcase how gender-responsive and socially inclusive approaches can be embedded in programme design, ensuring meaningful participation of women, youth, and stakeholders from LDCs, LLDCs, and SIDS.
With a strong emphasis on implementation over theory, the session will present real-world experiences, partnerships, and success stories, while identifying concrete opportunities for scaling impact and attracting further investment. It aims to demonstrate practical delivery models that can inform and support the post-2030 global development agenda.
