Waltraud Schmid is authorized signatory of Urban Innovation Vienna and Head of the Energy Department. She studied economics in Graz and has worked in the energy sector for her entire professional life, first at the Austrian Energy Agency, then for more than 10 years at the European Commission in Brussels and since 2013 at UIV. UIV is Vienna’s climate and innovation agency and supports the City of Vienna in many burning issues of the future.
