Maria co-founded Open Hydro with the mission to accelerate climate action in the hydropower sector. Formerly, she led the creation of the most recognised framework on climate resilience and GHG emissions analysis while working at the International Hydropower Association. She is a civil engineer with a master’s in sustainable water resources from ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
