Entrepreneur & Founder – Ecomyco
Kerri-Ann is both a scientist and entrepreneur at heart, merging these two fields in her quest to transform her country and the world with innovative solutions. Using her Bachelor’s in Chemistry, she is actively developing more sustainable versions of various everyday materials. Her first goal is to redo the ways in which we package goods, using as many locally sourced inputs as possible, to create biodegradable materials that help, as opposed to harm the Earth.
In 2019 Kerri-Ann was accepted into the coveted UNIDO x BIDC Bloom Cleantech Incubator Program and most recently, through her ideas, innovation, and tenacity, she was awarded first prize at the CIBC First Caribbean Bank’s S.E.E.D 2020 Business Plan Competition.
