Aneri is an award-winning climate & clean energy ecosystem builder. She founded the largest energy access accelerator in Africa called ENVenture that was acquired by New Energy Nexus, and now serves as their Chief Operating Officer. Nexus’s goal is to support 100,000 global clean energy entrepreneurs by 2030. She also is an investor and serves as a Venture Partner for Prithvi Ventures and Republic.
Formerly, she advised Fortune200 on their netzero goals at Elemental Excelerator, and worked at Meta on their Sustainability and Connectivity Lab, prototyping new social impact technologies. Previously, she spearheaded grassroots entrepreneur mobilization that led to the creation of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 7 of universal energy access at the UN Foundation.
Aneri has been recognized as Renewable Energy World’s Top 40 under 40 in solar, 2022 Bloomberg New Economy Catalyst, 2021 Ashden Award winner for Energy Access Innovation, winner of the Vodafone Wireless Innovation Prize, Nasdaq Milestone Maker, an American Express Emerging Innovator, Cordes Fellow, Academy of Achievement delegate, Wild Gift Fellow, and member of the Forbes Nonprofit Council. She has a Masters in Environment & Development from the London School of Economics and a Bachelors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
