Sustainability Lead
REN21-Renewables Now
Andrea Wainer is the Sustainability Lead as part of REN21’s Knowledge and Data Team. She coordinates the upcoming Renewable Energy and Sustainability Report (RESR), which provides an overview of the benefits, challenges and solutions for the sustainable deployment of renewables, from the perspectives of Ecosystems, Materials, and Energy Justice. Andrea also leads REN21’s work with the Paris Agreement Compatible Scenarios for Energy Infrastructure (PAC Project) focusing on civil society participation in energy and grid planning. Before joining REN21, Andrea worked at Energy Cities supporting community energy projects in addressing energy poverty.
