Readlay has extensive experience of over 25 years in an Electricity Industry involved in generation, transmission, and distribution most of it at Senior Management Level including Senior Manager Demand Side Management (DSM), Divisional Manager Copperbelt, Technical Services Manager, and Principal Protection Engineer. In 2018 he joined the SACREEE an institution focusing on promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency through resource mobilization, policy harmonization, quality assurance, capacity building, and knowledge management and communication. In the capacity of Renewable Energy Expert, he coordinated the development of the 2018 SADC Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Status Report and other SACREEE programmatic activities.
