Mr. Hal Turton

Hal is an Energy Economist at the IAEA with over two decades of experience in energy modeling, technology assessment, and policy. He aids IAEA member countries in developing sustainable energy strategies. Previously, he led energy scenario modeling at the Paul Scherrer Institute and coordinated the Global Energy Assessment at IIASA. Hal holds a Doctor of Sciences, a Master of Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Science, with extensive publications in sustainable energy, technology, and climate change mitigation.
