Filippo has close to 20 years of experience managing programs relating to climate change, clean energy, carbon finance and sustainable use of natural capital. He currently leads the climate change mitigation team at the GEF Secretariat. Prior to that, he worked as climate finance specialist with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and as project manager for carbon finance and social and environmental risk at JP Morgan, in London. Born in Italy, Filippo is an environmental lawyer by training and has an MSC in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London.
