Mette is currently working in the Norwegian Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Previously she led the Environmental section at the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation. She has held various positions in the areas of environment, climate change and development since 1993. She has, for example, worked for the UN in UNCC and UNEP in Geneva.
