Senior Economist, World Bank Group
Koffi is Senior Economist in the Energy and Extractives Global Practice of the World Bank. Over the last 19 years at the Bank, he has led energy policy dialogue, analytical work and lending activities in many countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and South Asia. His main areas of concentration include off-grid rural electrification and household energy access. He is currently co-leading the preparation of the State of Energy Access Report, 2017 as part of the Bank’s Sustainable Energy for All Knowledge Hub activities. He holds a Maîtrise es Sciences Economiques (1984) from the Université du Bénin, Togo and a Ph.D. (1992) from the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
