Helga Pražak-Reisinger has a degree in Food Technology and Biotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences BOKU, Vienna. She worked as a university assistant at the Department for Water and Microbiology at the Medical University of Vienna. From 1988 to 2016 Helga held several positions in the OMV Group. Starting in PCD Polymere she was responsible for plastics recycling and environmental management. From 1996 to 2008 Helga held the position of VP HSSE Health Safety Security & Environment for the entire OMV Group. Following this assignment Helga moved to OMV Power International as Business Manager Zero Emission Power Plants and Carbon Capture & Storage. From 2011 to 2016 Helga was head of Innovation Management Gas & Power and was project manager of Power-to-Gas.
Since 2017 Helga works for AIT Austria Institute of Technology as the Program Manager – New Energy for Industry.
