Faris Hasan is also OFID Sherpa to Sustainable Energy for All where OFID is also a member of the Energy Access Committee and the Clean Mini-Grid HIO as well as the WEF Nexus on the ground.
His engagement with financing development projects on a global scale spanned 15 years with a focus on the energy sector and an emphasis on Africa. His previous energy-related experience includes over 14 years as a designer and manager of energy projects, as well as 8 years in analyzing energy markets. He holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering and a MSc in Combustion Science and Environmental Control, both from the University of Sheffield, UK.
