Energy Specialist, World Bank Group
Elisa is an energy economist at the Energy Sector Assistance Program (ESMAP) at the World Bank. She works on several projects on energy access and in particular co-leads the global initiative for developing the Multi-Tier Framework (MTF) for measuring Energy Access in the context of the Sustainable Energy for All and SDG7 goals and Global Status of Energy access Report (SEAR). Elisa is among the principal authors of the SE4ALL Global Tracking Framework Report (GTF 2013, 2015 and 2017). She also works on Energy Access for the Urban Poor Program, and on the Energy Sector Resilience Project. She has extensive experience in Latin America and Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa and East Asia. She holds a PhD in Sustainable Development and International Cooperation and MSc in Economics, she is Harvard Kennedy School Fellow in Sustainability Science.
