Industrial energy efficiency case studies and best practices (UNIDO)

UNIDO has focused on unlocking potential for decarbonizing the industrial sector in developing and emerging countries over two decades with specific focus on Industrial Energy Efficiency (IEE), the industry’s hidden gem which is considered an untapped resource for energy and carbon reduction efforts. UNIDO’s IEE projects aim at decoupling economic growth and environmental impact while reducing industrial energy intensity and improving competitiveness of the industrial sector. 

In this session, 4 speakers from Egypt, Palestine, Morocco and Ghana share and highlight IEE case studies and best practices of each country. It includes the challenges they had to implement IEE measures and how they overcame those barriers as well as key to success in IEE projects.
